Foundations of Faith

I. The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God..." — 2 Timothy 3:16

II. Salvation by Grace

Salvation is a free gift of God, not a result of works. It is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith..." — Ephesians 2:8

III. The Trinity

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet distinct in role and relationship.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost..." — Matthew 28:19
